Former Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain shared a heartbreaking update on her baby girl Azaylia’s battle with leukemia

Reality TV personality says doctors caring for her toddler told her Azaylia could only have “days to live” after doctors found more tumors

Taking to Instagram on Thursday to update fans, via a ten-minute video clip, the brave parent explained that last week “a lot has happened”, which he said was -it added, was “too much to write in a caption”

Speaking to the camera, Ashley said: “So last week we did a bone marrow test, a lumbar puncture and blood samples to send them to Singapore in the hope that they could create therapy to save Azaylia’s life

“Then we had to have a CT scan on her head and the results came back the next day to indicate that she had two very large brain tumors

“They also stated that the chemotherapy which is usually given to treat leukemia of the spine or the brain will not be available because it has too much pressure with these tumors

“If they tried to go through the lumbar puncture it would kill her At that point our world fell

“The consultants said they thought she only had one, two days to live, it might even be that night”

He went on to explain that he and Azaylia’s mother, girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee, had brought the baby home that she had bravely managed for the next two nights, then said they had decided to take the single small pain reliever

Ashley added that Azaylia had recovered and that he and Safiyya had hoped that they could travel with her to Singapore for treatment.

However, tragically today, the couple learned that doctors in Singapore were unable to offer treatment because Azaylia’s disease is too rare

He then started to wake up telling how she had had a “difficult life since she was eight weeks old” undergoing chemotherapy and operations and added that they were taking her home so they could spend time together

Confused, he said: “For the last part of her life, I just want to take her home to see her as a baby and give her the best rest of her life”

Adamant to have a brave face for his little one, he then added that he had to “be strong” for his daughter because she “needs to see her daddy smile”

The family started a fundraiser to raise enough money for Azaylia to receive specialist treatment and admitted they would need over £ 1million to get there

Generous fans and celebrities including Molly-Mae Hague and Kate Ferdinand flocked to the Gofundme page to hand over their money and raised over £ 15 million to date

An article on the page explained: “The ONLY option to save Azaylia’s life is to fly to Singapore for CAR-T therapy plus a haplo transplant, for a minimum period of one year

“Due to the aggressiveness of Azaylia’s disease, we do not have time on our side and we may have to fly within a few weeks

“This treatment and associated expenses will exceed £ 1million with an initial deposit of £ 500,000 just to be accepted into the hospital and into the program
