BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty appeared to cheekily frisk her colleague Carol Kirkwood on Thursday’s show and it did not go unnoticed by viewers

On today’s show (April 8), journalist Fiona Lamdin visited a farm in Salisbury to talk about the decline of farm animals in the UK

She introduced viewers to some of the most worrying species of sheep, goats and pigs, including one called Bette Midler

After the report, Naga said: “So we have the beautiful Bette Midler We saw Mary and everything and now we go to Carol”

Apparently jibing the forecaster, she added, “Carol, would it be lovely to have a pig named after her?”

“Well, I’m not sure what Naga actually is, as lovely as those pigs are,” Carol replied before quickly shutting her up, adding, “I’m not sure if you’re good with it either. that either So fast passes “

The awkward moment was captured by eagle-eyed viewers and they quickly took to Twitter, believing Carol had been insulted by Naga

Viewers were also bewildered by advice from an expert asking the public to “keep eating the species in order to protect them”

Account manager Chris said: “Well these pigs are Oxford Sandy and Blacks – everyone we worry about these pigs as we are any breed

“The important thing to remember is that they were bred for human needs like all cattle … so if you think about food, consider eating purebred meat later.”

Meanwhile, Carol joked that she could get sacked after criticizing a comment from her producer

Earlier this week, Louise Minchin sparked outrage by revealing her unusual choice of condiment to accompany a sausage sandwich
