The professional racing driver, known as Queen of the Nurburging, died last month at the age of 51, after a long battle with cancer

After his death, former presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May returned to Top Gear to say a final farewell to their colleague, in a special episode of the show

“When she walked into a room it was like everything just got a little brighter and a little louder,” Jeremy said

“She was turning everything up on your TV until it was just (starts to shake) like that – and that’s what five minutes with Sabine was about”

“You watch those movies with her again and watch her just smile,” Richard agreed. Look at her expressions when she was driving on the bumpy edge, even in those times she was happy to give in to the joy

“And the great tragedy is that I’m sure she had a lot more to share with us”
