Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio slammed VAR after technology failed to issue penalties to Bianconeri and Napoli in the first half of their rescheduling game tonight

Juve missed the wins 2-1 thanks to a return goal from Paulo Dybala and they survived a late scare from the Neapolitans to secure the victory

The game was interesting between two of Italy’s biggest teams and a place in the third position of the Serie A table was up for grabs

Napoli scored their goal from the penalty spot, but there could have been two more penalties awarded in the game

Hirving Lozano tackled Federico Chiesa in Napoli’s area and most fans expected the referee to award a penalty for the foul

Alex Sandro also appeared to stumble, Piotr Zieliński, but the referee and VAR also said there was no foul in this part of the game

The former midfielder took to his Twitter account and tweeted: “As happened in the World Cup qualifiers, there is also no VAR in Serie A Hopefully the lens line technology works, you never know… ”
