Actress Shailene Woodley confirmed her engagement to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during an appearance on Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon Monday

Woodley, who was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role in HBO’s drama series “Big Little Lies”, said she and Rodgers got engaged “some time ago”

Rodgers, 37, had mentioned his engagement and thanked his fiancée by accepting his third career MVP award on February 6 but did not say his name

Woodley, 29, told Fallon she had yet to attend one of Rodgers’ games due to the pandemic, and she admitted that growing up the sport was never really on his radar”

“When we first met, too, I knew he was a footballer, but I didn’t know what kind of footballer he was,” explained Woodley. “And I’m still constantly learning”

About Rodgers’ talent in football, she continued: “I don’t understand He’s good He’s great But, like, I don’t understand Because I don’t know him as a footballer I know him like the nerd who wants to host “Jeopardy!” He’s the guy I know “

Rodgers revealed last month that he was invited to host an episode of his favorite game show – the one he appeared on in a 2015 Celebrity Edition
